Three weeks ago (it seems like a lifetime) we open

Three weeks ago (it seems like a lifetime) we opened #VERVLAB exhibition “SENSORIUM” by art collective @alice_in_hackneyland . A two-room immersive installation filled with objets d’art and unique interactive experiences, #SENSORIUM was designed to play with our perceptions and distort our sense of reality. We could not have imagined then that our reality would actually change so dramatically due to the coronavirus. The ground has shifted from our very feet and left us all unbalanced and confused.
Due to the spread of the coronavirus, we had to close the exhibition early and it is a real pity. The artists worked day and night to create the installation and in the opening weeks reached a wide audience across London. We want to give a big THANK YOU to @alice_in_hackneyland and featured artists and collaborators @alguacilperkoff @michelle.meola @studioaszyk @ninamankin @olhapryymak for their hard work and stunning art. The exhibition was a great celebration of artists, creators and small businesses in Hackney and East London and thankful we were able to share it with the world for at least 2 weeks!
